About the Children's Writer, Paranoid Schizophrenic and Obsessive-Compulsive, Richard Carlson Jr.Richard Carlson Jr., born in 1971, has paranoid schizophrenia and obsessive-compulsive disorder. Richard was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia at almost twenty-one years of age. He didn't realize he had the mental illness until he was thirty-three.
